Promoting digital transformation and modernizing the social insurance system.
4. Notable Updates and Provisions
4.1. Expansion of Coverage
The Law expands the scope of mandatory social insurance to include additional groups with stable employment and income, aiming for universal coverage.​
4.2. Introduction of New Benefits
A new maternity benefit is introduced for voluntary social insurance participants, enhancing the attractiveness of the voluntary scheme.​
4.3. State Support Mechanisms
The government is mandated to provide financial support for voluntary social insurance participants and to ensure the sustainability of the social insurance fund.​
4.4. Digital Transformation
The Law emphasizes the development and integration of a national social insurance database, promoting digital transformation in social insurance administration.​
4.5. Enhanced Enforcement and Compliance
Stricter penalties are established for violations such as evasion of contributions, misuse of funds, and fraudulent claims, ensuring compliance and integrity of the system.​
